Mgr. Dita Dostálková was born on March 14, 1972 in Uherské Hradiště, Moravia. In 1990 she graduated from the College of Applied Arts in Uherské Hradiště and then continued to study at the Department of Applied Arts at Prague´s university in the studio of Product Design which was led by prof. ing. arch. Otakar Diblík. During her studies Dita Dostálková went abroad on several study-stays and short-term attachments, e.g. to Graphic Art Studio Barrese, Milan (1991), Studio of Animated Cartoons, Zlín (1993), Academie beeldende kunsten, Maastricht, the Netherlands (1994), Academia Sztuk Pieknych Krakow, Poland (1995), Accademia di belle arti, Perugia, Italy (1995). Nowadays Mgr. Dita Dostálková devotes her time, among others, to silk-painting, drawing, creating ceramic sculptures and unorthodox sales-promoting gifts and covers, and interior design.
